1. Information You Provide

Qalami may process text that you type, paste, dictate, or otherwise submit when you use writing, correction, rewriting, or related language features.

The content you submit is used only to provide the feature you requested, such as correcting, improving, rewriting, or processing text.

Qalami does not sell your personal information.

2. Text and AI Processing

Some Qalami features may require submitted text to be securely transmitted to external processing services, including AI-based services, in order to generate corrections, suggestions, or other requested writing results.

Only the information necessary to perform the requested function is transmitted.

Third-party processing services may process this information according to their own applicable privacy and data-processing terms.

Users should avoid submitting highly sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for the requested function.

3. Speech Recognition and Microphone

If you choose to use voice input or dictation, Qalami may request access to your device microphone and speech-recognition functionality.

Microphone access occurs only when you actively use a voice-input feature.

Audio or speech data may be processed by the operating system, device speech-recognition service, or another speech-processing provider in order to convert speech into text.

Qalami does not intentionally use microphone access for background recording.

4. Purchases and Subscriptions

Paid features or subscriptions may be processed through Google Play or other applicable app-store payment systems.

Qalami also uses RevenueCat to help manage purchase status, subscriptions, entitlements, and restoration of purchases.

Qantara Apps Studio does not receive or store your full payment-card details.

Payment information is handled by the relevant app store or payment provider according to its own privacy policy.

RevenueCat may receive purchase-related identifiers and subscription information necessary to provide subscription management services.

5. Device and Technical Information

The App or its service providers may process limited technical information necessary for functionality, security, subscription verification, diagnostics, or error handling.

This may include information such as operating system version, app version, device or installation identifiers, and technical diagnostics where applicable.

Qalami does not use this information to sell personal profiles to advertisers.

6. Data Storage and Security

Qantara Apps Studio uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information processed through Qalami.

Data transmitted between the App and online services is sent using secure network connections where supported.

No electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Data Retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, maintain application functionality, comply with applicable legal requirements, prevent abuse, or resolve technical issues.

Information processed by third-party providers may also be subject to their applicable retention policies.

8. Data Deletion

Text stored locally by the App can be removed by deleting the relevant content or application data from the device, where applicable.

Users may also contact Qantara Apps Studio regarding privacy questions or requests concerning data associated with Qalami.

9. Third-Party Services

Qalami may use third-party services necessary to operate certain features, including:

• Google Play
• RevenueCat
• speech-recognition services
• AI or language-processing service providers
• technical infrastructure and service providers required to operate App features

These providers process information according to their respective privacy policies and contractual obligations.

10. Children’s Privacy

Qalami is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
